"Jonathan Nation, the president of MB4Fitness, has been my personal trainer for more years than I can recall. Identifying him as "my personal trainer" could not possibly be a more accurate description, for he truly individualizes each client's workout sessions as needed, sometimes from workout to workout, sometimes during what would be, for that client, a "typical" session. I can say this with assurance because, over the years, I have presented Jonathan with a variety of challenges resulting from a variety of surgical procedures and injuries I've had. He has helped me recover from two knee replacements, surgeries on both rotator cuffs and on my elbow, and helped ease the intense lower back pain I live with periodically.

 

Jonathan has creatively met each challenge with ease and an uncanny ability to adapt and tailor-make your workout so it can provide the best benefit you can achieve with whatever obstacles you might be facing. He may choose merely to lower the weight you've been lifting on any given machine. Or he may have you use free weights, your own body weight and strength alone, or he may use himself as a counterweight.

 

Jonathan incorporates cardio-boosting activities, high intensity interval training techniques, and stretching exercises into the workouts he plans, always keeping in mind the needs of each individual client. He even put me on a balance board for a while after I'd expressed concern about my personal stability. He really listens to his clients and plans accordingly.

 

While his focus may, in general, be on strength training, he does not ignore other aspects of physical health and fitness. He will happily work with you, for example, on your weight loss efforts.

 

He offers encouragement and support without end and is constantly aware of and concerned regarding any discomfort his clients might be experiencing; he doesn't want ANY pain to be felt by or harm to come to his clients.

 

In addition to being an excellent trainer, Jonathan Nation is just a genuinely, all-around, really nice guy!
